In one of my college courses, my class is given four different verses that we need to plan a worship service around. On top of that, every service is supposed to be divided into four different sections which are as follows:
Gathering (The church coming together)
Word (A Scripture from the Bible)
Table (Communion)
Sending (The church going into the world)
Each of these videos has a quick testimony or explanation of a verse as well as just the words of each verse moving on the screen with background music or noises. It seems to me that this has been the most effective way anyone has ever been able to read or hear verses in a service. It seems that many times when a pastor starts reading a passage people just conk out. But this however, really seemed to work. People were just reading the words in silence or with whatever was in the background. I highly encourage you to give a shot sometime!
At one of these specific worship services we decided to cut these sections apart with different videos. And so we began the night with this first video, based off of Mark 14:12-26.
Here is the second video for Word based off of Luke 24:13-35.
And the video for the Table section is based off of John 21.
And finally, the sending video based off of Revelation 19:6-9.
If you want to use any of these videos in a service feel free to send me an email me at jbradley@cornerstonethechurch.org and we will try to find a way to get them to you.
