Picture Poetry: Psalm 101

Today’s creative worship idea falls in the category of picture poetry. I remember studying some form of poetry in high school where a poem would be written out in a way to describe what it was saying. Let me explain it by                     pausing.

Here’s an example:

Well, for a previous worship event on my campus, we had to do something with Psalm 101. I was asked to make a video and I incorporated this idea into what I was doing. I feel that it actually worked out really well. The words move somewhat fast, but otherwise the visual imagery really helps people to comprehend what David was trying to say in this particular Psalm.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to get ahold of it for your own service. Thanks to Taylor Keating for the background music and to the talents for offering their voices to the reading of Psalm 101
